Peyvand Amini, who was mentored by and a member of the lab of Dr. Sam Mesiano in the Department of Reproductive Biology, publicly defended her doctoral dissertation on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in SOM E-501.
The title of Peyvand's dissertation is "Mechanisms by which progesterone controls human pregnancy and parturition."
A reception in Dr. Amini's honor was held at 5:00 p.m. in the Department's 5th floor bridge area.
