Sam Chai, a Ph.D. candidate advised by and in the lab of Dr. Isabelle Deschenes, publicly defended his doctoral dissertation on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in SOM E-501.
Sam's dissertation is entitled "Novel Genetic Modifiers in a Monogenic Cardiac Arrhythmia."
A reception in the new Ph.D.'s honor followed the defense in the Department 5th floor bridge area.
